Sculpture Garden on Bushnell Plaza
Installation of the Bushnell Plaza Sculpture Garden is underway. The installation, located directly across from Burr Mall, the Wadsworth and City Hall, is a collaboration between the Bushnell Plaza Condominium Association, the iQuilt Partnership and Joan Hurwit, who created the Sculpture Garden at the Governor’s Residence. Works will continue to be installed this week, followed by the addition of some planters and greenery, courtesy of KNOX Inc. The grand opening of the Sculpture Garden will be this Saturday, September 20th, for Envisionfest, and the wonderful installation and celebration of Connecticut artists will be open for six months. Be sure to visit the newly installed sculptures.
